Andean American Mining has 3 key assets
in Peru: Invicta, Sinchao and Santa Rosa.
Andean American acquired an option to purchase 100% of Invicta (formerly Victoria), an advanced exploration project of 3,700 hectares, from a Barrick wholly owned subsidiary, Minera ABX Exploraciones SA in 2005. Subsequent to this date, Andean American independently acquired an additional 37,800 hectares contiguous to the property bringing the total land position for the project to 41,500 hectares.
At the Sinchao Property, the mineralization encountered to date is a true
polymetallic with copper, gold, silver, zinc and lead.
Sinchao Metals Corp., of which Andean American owns
58% as of December 12, 2007, was formed in April 2006
to allow shareholders to participate directly in the
development of this distinctive property.
Santa Rosa is a producing open pit mine that has the potential for expansion and additional exploration. The nearby Rio and Mamara properties are currently in exploration.
